Bristol Airport Charity Golf Day Raises £30,000 for Children's Hospice South West

A charity golf day organised by Bristol Airport has raised more than £30,000 for Children's Hospice South West.
The event, held at The Players Golf Club in South Gloucestershire, brought together 96 golfers across 24 teams, including many of the airport's contractors, suppliers and business partners.
Funds raised will support Children's Hospice South West, which provides care and support for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, as well as their families, across the region.
The golf day was organised by Bristol Airport's Infrastructure Director, Andrew Goodenough, and Commercial Development Executive, Lydia Jacquety.
Many of the participating businesses are involved in major projects at the airport, including its Terminal Transformation programme, which is due to be completed in 2028.
Paul Courtney, Director of Fundraising at Children's Hospice South West, said:
“Events like this play an important role in supporting the vital work we do for children and families across the South West. We're incredibly grateful for Bristol Airport's continued support.”

Organisers also thanked St Austell Brewery for supporting the event and providing refreshments throughout the day.
