Chilton Trinity Unveils Stunning New State-of-the-Art IT Suite

Students at Chilton Trinity School in Bridgwater, Somerset, are celebrating the opening of a brand-new, state-of-the-art IT suite — a shining example of how modern technology and sustainable design can come together to create a truly inspirational learning space.
The new facility — set within one of the most light, bright and picturesque school environments in the region — represents the latest investment in Chilton Trinity’s commitment to providing cutting-edge opportunities for its students.
Chilton Trinity is part of Futura Learning Partnership, a school trust with a strong track record of school improvement.
The impressive new suite, featuring 60 computers, high-quality screens and eco-friendly furniture, was made possible thanks to Futura's trading arm, which reinvests profits back into its schools to enhance education across the trust.
Headteacher Ms Deady said:
“Our students are absolutely thrilled with these new computers and the stunning IT suite.
“The incredible space can accommodate large, interactive lessons thanks to its double-classroom layout, and the latest technology allows us to deliver a truly modern curriculum.
It’s bright, environmentally friendly and a wonderful place to learn — everything a 21st-century school should be.”
The suite, which officially opened this month, will allow hundreds of students to access high-performance computers throughout the week.
Designed to be flexible and future-proof, it can support a wide range of subjects — from AI, to coding and digital design to online collaboration and media production.
In line with Chilton Trinity’s strong eco-friendly ethos, the project incorporated sustainable elements, including the creative reuse of second-hand desks and energy-efficient equipment to help reduce the school’s carbon footprint.
Tim Howes, Chief Operating Officer at Futura Learning Partnership, added:
