Countdown to Christmas at Il Michelangelos in Weston-super-Mare

The Mayor of Weston-super-Mare in Somerset is set to officially switch on the first-ever Christmas lights extravaganza at Il Michelangelo on the seafront.

Weston-super-Mare Mayor, Cllr Williams, will officially switch on the Christmas lights this Sunday, 30th November, at 6pm. This marks the beginning of the festive season, with the Christmas Fayre Menu launching the following day, Monday 1st December.

The switch-on will also herald a month of festive dining and celebrations, beginning with a heart-warming evening of Christmas carols on Tuesday 9th December.

A spokesperson said: “Our entire Michelangelo team are delighted to launch our new Christmas Fayre menus and to welcome the Mayor and our friends from Weston-super-Mare to our exciting annual Christmas event.

“This is far more than a lights switch-on — it’s a celebration of community, family, and the start of a magical festive season at the heart of Weston-super-Mare. Our amazing restaurant team are super excited for the entire festive season.”

Located on Knightstone Road overlooking the sea, Il Michelangelo has become a local landmark, renowned for its authentic Italian cuisine, elegant atmosphere, and warm hospitality.
