All Classical Radio has officially launched as Ireland’s first radio station dedicated entirely to classical music.

The new station offers listeners a 24-hour mix of classical music, film soundtracks and contemporary pieces designed to provide a calmer and more relaxing listening experience.

Broadcasting from studios in Liffey Valley, Dublin, the station is produced by RadioHub, the team behind stations including Christmas FM and Rewind Radio.

Listeners can tune in online, through smart speakers and on DAB+ radio across Leinster.

“We are so excited to officially welcome everyone to All Classical Radio.
“All Classical Radio brings Ireland a new, uninterrupted home for classical music 24/7.
“We’re delighted to share All Classical Radio and see how the music resonates with listeners.”

The station is currently operating under a 12-month trial licence granted by Coimisiún na Meán, with hopes of becoming a permanent national service in the future.

All Classical Radio said its aim is to create a space where listeners can focus, unwind and enjoy music throughout the day, whether at home, at work or in the car.
