Poolathon held in memory of former Worle student Evie Ruck

For 24 hours a pool marathon will be attempted by her boyfriend Harry Lowe and her best friend Harry Gadsden in memory of much-loved former WCSA student Evie Ruck, who tragically passed away in October 2023, following a short battle with cancer.

On JustGiving, the event’s page stated ‘Sadly Evie passed away at the age of 16 years old after a very short battle with cancer, she was diagnosed with  a rare type of sarcoma and died three weeks later surrounded by her loving family.”

Evie’s Mother said that ‘All Stars will be running a quiz/Mario Kart tournament/ Pool competition to also raise money.’
