Pupils’ excitement after the arrival of a Woodlands Trust pack to plant 90 trees in their school grounds

Pupils at St Anne’s Church Academy in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset have been exploring their tree pack from the Woodlands Trust at their Well-being and Community after school-club.
They have some 90 saplings to plant to increase the biodiversity in the school grounds.
The pupils and staff are also passionate about forest school learning.

Learning Mentor Cat Hockey said: “We can’t wait for these trees to be planted in the school grounds!
“At our Community and Wellbeing Club we also tidied our gardening area and enjoyed some mindfulness Christmas colouring and games!”
St Anne’s Church Academy is a high achieving and happy caring school, and is the first school in North Somerset to receive the highly prized Social School Award.
