Residents at Rivendell View Enjoy a Glamorous Day Out in Classic Style

Residents at HC-One’s Rivendell View Care Home in Bardolph, Nottingham, were treated to a truly glamorous day out when they were whisked away in a stunning vintage car for an afternoon of festive fun.

Thanks to the thoughtful efforts of Activity Coordinator, Sarah Klotschkow, and her friend Chris Donnelly from Premier Limos, residents had the opportunity to travel in a 1986 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur, a timeless symbol of elegance and luxury.

Chris generously volunteered his time and car to give residents a memorable experience and has already expressed interest in visiting again.

Two residents, Rita Brookes and Janet Watchorn, enjoyed the special outing. Before setting off, they indulged in some pampering at the home’s salon, having their hair beautifully styled to complete their VIP experience, a lovely example of the all-inclusive care offered at Rivendell View.

Their day continued at Brookfields Garden Centre, where they admired the sparkling Christmas displays and shared a delicious meal together.

Janet was delighted to be joined by her daughter for the occasion, while Rita treated herself to a new necklace as a keepsake from the day.

Activity Coordinator at HC-One’s Rivendell View Care Home, Sarah Klotschkow, said:

“It was such a joy to see everyone smiling and enjoying themselves,” said Sarah. “The residents felt like celebrities, and we’re so grateful to Chris for helping make it such a special day.”
