The Ascot Group Backs Incredible Charity Delivering Christmas Gifts to Children in Need

The Ascot Group in Somerset is supporting an inspirational project, Every Child Needs Christmas, helping to bring festive cheer to underprivileged children across Weston-super-Mare and the surrounding areas.
The company, known for its involvement in local community causes, is joining others in supporting Every Child Needs Christmas, a charity working to deliver gifts to children aged 0 to 16 who may otherwise go without'
The charity is asking for brand-new, unwrapped gifts, ideally valued at £5 to £10, to be dropped off at one of its chosen locations, with one of them being the Ascot Group headquarters.
All presents are wrapped and distributed to families through North Somerset Children’s Centres, social care teams, foodbanks, trusts and other partner organisations.
Ascot Group CEO Andrew Scott said: “We are delighted to be part of this incredible Christmas gifts-to-children project in Weston-super-Mare.
“It’s a real community effort, and we’re proud to play our part in helping bring smiles to children this Christmas.”
The Ascot Group is accepting gifts at its base next to Worle Train Station at 200 Park Way, Worle, Weston-super-Mare, BS22 6WA.
Every Child Needs Christmas is run entirely by volunteers and was launched in 2013 by Sara and Khurm Arshad.
Founder Sara Arshad said:
“The campaign is about all of you as a community — families giving what we can together to help those around us.”
