Accessible Inclusive Music Brings Harmony to Children with Additional Needs

Accessible Inclusive Music (AIM) is a registered charity based in West Yorkshire, UK, which provides free and subsidised musical opportunities to children and young people across the UK, specifically those who have additional needs.

They have a free online choir that meets weekly during term time and participants can join in singing, using Makaton signing, listening, moving to the music or using an eye gaze device or switch!

Accessible Inclusive Music is mainly online, therefore they don't do local performances at this time.

However, sometimes they create edited videos of online choir rehearsals to showcase the hard work and musical progress of their participants.

Accessible Inclusive Music hopes to find funding as they would love to expand the musical opportunities they offer, in particular subsidised instrumental lessons for children and young people with disabilities and have additional needs.

Their dream would be to have their own accessible music school where their musical activities could take place!
