Among the standout students recognised for their achievements was Harpers Giles, who enjoyed an exceptional evening, collecting three awards: Team of the Year, Achievement in Netball, and the coveted Sports Personality of the Year title.

The Boys’ Sports Personality of the Year was awarded to Joe Finch, whose commitment and impact across school sport have made him a standout role model.
One of the evening’s most celebrated team accolades, Team of the Year, went to the U16 Girls’ Football Team, who impressed throughout the season and finished as Somerset Cup runners-up.
The night’s biggest honour, the Sporting Excellence Award, was presented to Mollie Burton, who represents Great Britain in U16 Kickboxing and continues to excel at national and international level.
The ceremony also welcomed back former Clevedon students who are now thriving on the professional stage.

Nathan Catt, ex-England and Bath Rugby star, returned to share his journey from school pitches to the Premiership. Professional tennis player and 2022 Wimbledon mixed doubles quarter-finalist Alicia Barnett spoke about resilience, elite performance, and the value of teamwork.
Video messages from a combination of ex students and local sporting elite was featured on the night.
They included Jack Butland, Renéeqa Bonner, Jess Thirlby, and Tom Foley—further highlighted the remarkable successes achieved by Clevedon graduates.
A special message from Theo Walcott added further star power to the celebrations, which also featured a raffle supported by generous donations from local businesses.
Louise Wilkins, Curriculum Leader of PE, said: “It was an incredible night celebrating the talent, dedication, and hard work of our students. Seeing former Clevedon School students achieving at the highest level makes tonight even more inspiring, and we hope it motivates all our students to reach their full potential on and off the field.”
