Clevedon School students shine with outstanding Post 16 results

Clevedon School students are celebrating outstanding Post 16 results, with the Yr13 students making significantly more progress than their peers nationally across their choice of courses.
The progress made by the cohort, who have studied traditional A-Levels and
vocational qualifications, means students have secured places at their university,
apprenticeship and employment destinations of choice.
The success is particularly significant for a year who have worked through the school building issues that impacted their first year of Post 16 study.
Despite this, students have demonstrated exceptional determination and have continued to make strong progress throughout their time at Clevedon School.
Headteacher Jim Smith said:
"I am delighted with the outcomes for this cohort of students. They have contributed so much to the life of Clevedon School over the last 7 years and we wish them well with the next exciting chapter of their life.
"They are a kind and brilliant cohort who have so much to offer wider society – and that’s what we all should be celebrating today”

“Today's results are a celebration of the achievements of the students themselves, as well as the dedication of their teachers, support staff and families who have helped them reach this point.
Clevedon School Sixth form students benefit from excellent academic teaching but
also a bespoke package of pastoral support and life-skills development called
‘Futures’ which OFSTED rated as ‘Outstanding’ in the last inspection.
