Family Reunited With Missing Pet Rabbit After Four Years in “Easter Miracle”
By Animals Correspondent
A family has been left stunned after their pet rabbit turned up alive — four years after disappearing.
Laura Conway-Norris and her daughter Cora, from Helston, thought they had lost Flopsy for good back in 2022. The beloved bunny vanished without a trace, and the family eventually gave away all her things.
But in a twist no one saw coming, Laura spotted a Facebook post on Easter Sunday about a rabbit found in a nearby field — and instantly recognised the sandy brown fur.
She and Cora rushed out to check — and couldn’t believe it when it really was Flopsy.
“On Easter Sunday of all days — you couldn't write it,” Laura told the Falmouth Packet.
Even more incredible, the rabbit was in good condition despite surviving in the wild for years.
Cora, now nine, was overjoyed to be reunited with the pet she lost when she was just four.
The family is now getting ready to welcome Flopsy home again — buying new supplies and making her as comfortable as possible.
“We'll have to make her home as big and as wild as we can,” Laura added.
