Inspiring Change: UK-SOS and Literacy Plus Team Up to Tackle Plastic Waste (By Freddie and Alex)

By Freddie S and Alex B, Year 7, Jill Dando News Correspondents at Clevedon School
We were excited to have UK-SOS visit our Literacy Plus lesson to talk about plastics and how we can make a difference to reducing plastic waste.
The workshop was called City to Sea.
UK-SOS is a government charity who we are lucky to have work in our school and they have given a series of workshops after school to our Leadership Academy.
It has been fun listening to them but also creating our own ideas and projects.
We have been able to use our own imaginations and then put our ideas into practice in many ways around the school and in the local community.

The board behind us in the photo shows you some of our ideas as we worked on the white board and captured some of our ideas from our discussions.
