Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm, a leading conservation charity and award-winning Zoo in North Somerset, is excited to announce the return of its much-loved Kids Go Free offer this winter.

Running from 27 December to 1 February, the initiative invites families to enjoy an affordable day out at a time of year that is often financially and emotionally challenging. (Terms and conditions apply.)

The announcement follows a record-breaking year for footfall at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm, reflecting growing public love for wildlife experiences, conservation, and accessible family days out.

January is widely recognised as a difficult month for many households, with rising costs and post-Christmas pressures leaving families searching for low-cost ways to brighten their days.

In response, Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm is once again welcoming children in for free to help families reconnect with nature, wildlife, and each other.

Larry Bush, Managing Director at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm, said:

“January can be a tough time for families. By bringing back our Kids Go Free offer, we hope to make it easier for people to enjoy quality time together while experiencing the animals and open spaces our Zoo has to offer.
"Following a record-breaking year for footfall, we’re proud to continue making the Zoo as accessible as possible for our community.”

Bush continued, “We are also excited to share the return of our hugely popular Christmas tree recycling initiative. We’re aiming to recycle a record 4,000 donated Christmas trees this year, transforming them into enrichment, mulch, and compost to benefit both animals and the environment.
"This campaign remains our favourite way to begin the year - it’s a great
initiative that benefits our animals, our local community, and the environment.”

Spread across more than 100 acres, Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm is home to many species, including African elephants, white rhinos, lions, Andean bears, and Aqua, the rescued tiger.

With spacious habitats, daily keeper talks, and plenty of opportunities for hands-on learning, families can enjoy a full and immersive wildlife experience.

Beyond its animals, the Zoo provides fresh air, adventure, and room to explore. Outdoor and indoor play areas, interactive exhibits, and wide-open green spaces make it an ideal destination for burning off energy and shaking away the winter blues.

The Kids Go Free offer is valid from December 27th and throughout January, gifting free admission for children when accompanied by a full-paying adult or concession ticket holder.

Located just outside Bristol, the Zoo also offers free parking with a Farm Shop which serves seasonal treats - perfect for warming up in the colder months!
