The Roman Baths has been recognised as one of the world’s best visitor attractions after being ranked in the top one per cent globally in the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best Awards for 2026.

The historic attraction was also named the fourth best visitor attraction in the UK, highlighting its continued popularity with tourists from around the world.

The prestigious awards are based entirely on reviews from visitors, making the recognition especially meaningful for the team behind one of Bath’s most iconic landmarks.

Welcoming nearly a million visitors every year, the Roman Baths sits at the heart of Bath’s UNESCO World Heritage status and plays a major role in supporting the local economy.

The attraction helps bring tourists into the city, supporting jobs, local businesses and investment across Bath and North East Somerset.
