Say Cheese! Hilarious Wildlife Photos Bring Smiles as Comedy Competition Heats Up

By Jill Dando News
Feeling those Monday blues? Don’t worry — the animal kingdom is here to save the day!
The Nikon Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards 2025 has released some of its first laugh-out-loud entries, and they’re guaranteed to brighten your week.
From clumsy penguins to cheeky monkeys pulling faces, this year’s submissions prove once again that nature has a brilliant sense of humour.
With just under a month to go until entries close on 30 June, organisers are calling on photographers of all levels — pros, amateurs, and even first-time snappers — to submit their funniest wildlife moments.

Whether you’ve caught a surprised squirrel or a selfie-loving llama, your shot could win you a dream Kenyan safari, along with top-notch camera gear and more.

“It’s just a bit of fun,” say the organisers, “but we all need something joyful to start the week — and what better than wildlife being their wonderfully weird selves?”
The competition is free to enter and open to anyone with a love of animals and a good eye for comedy.

So dust off those memory cards and get snapping — the world could use a good chuckle!
As usual entry is only via the website and is open world wide.
