A STEM workshop hosted by the UK military has arrived at Priory Community School in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset

.
One Jill Dando News reporter was lucky enough to attend, and here’s what they had to say:

“It was awesome!”

The workshop was held to teach young students about the Royal Signals military branch, offering a glimpse into life in the military and the valuable skills it provides.

The aim was to promote and raise awareness of careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

Some quotes from other students at the workshop included:

“Being a cyber detective was the coolest thing to date,” and “The team quiz at the end was thrilling!”

Even the supervising officer enjoyed the experience, calling it a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

The Royal Signals is a military branch responsible for maintaining communication between countries and embassies.

In the event of any kind of conflict, communication is ensured—whether through an embassy or a mobile communication centre.
