We have a fast-expanding team of positive journalists trained by professionals. We have over 100 Jill Dando News reporters aged 8 to 18 in schools across England and Malawi, Africa. The number is increasing by the week.

We are interested to hear from positive, enthusiastic ‘all things are possible’ people to join our fun, kind, visionary teams.

Ellise Hayward - Disabilities Editor.

An inspirational motivational speaker who became Disabilities Editor after being interviewed by Jill Dando News reporters at Priory Community School Academy in July 2023.

Alex Crowther

Former student at Priory Community School Academy where this newspaper was birthed under Principal Neville Coles. Alex was a student there when Sir Richard Branson gave a video messages to encourage students to continue believing for the impossible and going for their dreams with vision, creativity and thinking differently. Since then Alex has secured a First Class Honours in Broadcast Journalism, been founding editor of HR World and is one of Britan’s youngest football club board members aged only 23. Alex is the proud ‘father‘ of a 7 foot hedgehog mascot and helps out several charities. He runs a 360 degree marketing company Hedgehog Communications.

Jack Easterbrook

Former student at Worle Community School Academy which Jill Dando attended. Jack is a digital marketing expert, with vast experience in the publishing, business and training industry. He runs a 360 degree marketing company Hedgehog Communications. He loves cycling and good coffee.

Harry Hedgehog

Hedgehog Mascot. Began life as a mascot back in 2008 where he shared duties at the Purple Sheep Centre and Priory Community School Academy.
