The Floats of Weston Carnival Light Up The Streets!

On Friday the 7th of November, the annual Weston-Super-Mare carnival took place.

Citizens lined the parade route, watching as the multicoloured floats drove past.

It started around 7pm, with the floats leaving from the Tesco Superstore in town and ended at around 10pm at the Pelican Crossing on Locking Road, which is adjacent to the Tesco Superstore carpark.

Charity collectors walked alongside the gigantic floats, collecting money for certain charities.

The Journalists at Priory Community School hope everyone who went had a wonderful time!
