Year 7 Pupils Shine in Musical Theatre Showcase

Year 7 pupils from Clevedon School took to the stage to perform eight different musicals as part of a special project — with only six weeks of rehearsal time.

Each class selected a musical to perform for their half of the year group.

On the day of the performance, they had just one lesson to prepare, and then it was straight into showtime!

Each performance lasted 15 minutes, followed by a vote for Best Actor and Best Dancer. Awards will be given out in class so that pupils can celebrate their achievements with their company.

On the Spanish side, audiences enjoyed creative renditions of Aladdin, The Greatest Showman, Moana, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Meanwhile, the French side brought energy and excitement with performances of School of Rock, Frozen, Shrek, and High School Musical.

We hope that next year’s Year 7 pupils will be just as fabulous as this year’s musical stars!
