Disabilities Correspondent Returns to Former Primary School for Assembly
By Ellise Hollie Hayward, Disabilities Correspondent
I had the absolute pleasure of delivering a whole-school assembly at Manor Court Primary School, and it was such a rewarding experience.
It was great to meet so many enthusiastic pupils, who listened so well and asked some brilliant questions.

Their curiosity, confidence and engagement made the assembly even more enjoyable, and I loved having the opportunity to share my experiences with them.
One of the most special parts of the day was being reunited with my Year 4 teacher, as well as another teacher from my primary school. It was so lovely to see them again after all these years and to thank them for the support and encouragement they gave me.

Teachers have such an important impact on our lives, so it was a real privilege to catch up with them.

A huge thank you to everyone at Manor Court Primary School for making me feel so welcome.
I really enjoyed spending time with the pupils and staff, and I hope I was able to inspire the children to believe in themselves, work hard and never stop asking questions.
