Dunelm Brings Back Delivering Joy Campaign for Seventh Christmas
By Charities Correspondent
Dunelm is bringing back its Delivering Joy campaign for a seventh year, encouraging customers and local communities to help make Christmas special for those who may otherwise go without a gift.
Since launching in 2020, the initiative has helped provide more than 700,000 presents, with Dunelm colleagues, shoppers and community organisations once again joining forces to spread some festive cheer.
Working with local schools, care homes, refuges and charities, Dunelm has collected Christmas wishes from people in communities across the UK.
These are displayed on special Delivering Joy trees in stores, with each tag showing details about the recipient and the gift they would like.
Customers can choose a tag, purchase or make the requested present (gifts do not have to be bought from Dunelm) and return it to the store by the deadline shown.
DON'T MISS:

Gifts should have the original tag attached and be placed in an unsealed gift bag. Dunelm will then arrange delivery in time for Christmas, with any unclaimed requests fulfilled by the retailer.
Gift requests range from everyday essentials such as toiletries and nightwear to children's stationery, activity books and toys.
Those who miss out on selecting a gift tag can still support the campaign through Dunelm's partnership with Age UK.
Donation baubles are available on Delivering Joy trees, allowing customers to contribute between £1 and £100 towards helping older people experiencing loneliness or isolation.
Rory McAllister, Stores Director, said:
"This is the seventh year of our Delivering Joy initiative, and we're delighted to continue bringing together our local communities to support those who need it most at Christmas.
"We know that the festive period can be a difficult time of year for some, and the gift tags in our stores represent real wishes from those who live locally. Fulfilling one of these wishes can make a huge difference and we're so grateful for the continued generosity of our customers and colleagues."
