Free Ovarian Cancer Support Day Comes to Norwich

By Community Correspondent
Ovacome, the UK ovarian cancer support charity, is hosting a free Health and Wellbeing Day at the Mercure Norwich Hotel on Saturday 19 July 2025.
The event is open to anyone affected by ovarian cancer, including those diagnosed and their loved ones.
The day will include expert-led sessions on treatment options, wellbeing, and the latest research.
Attendees will also have the chance to connect with others who share similar experiences.
“This is our first Health and Wellbeing Day in Norwich, and we’re excited to meet members of our community,” said Anna Hudson, Head of Ovacome’s Support Services. “It’s a chance to learn, connect, and find support.”
Guest speakers include Consultant Gynaecologist Dr Nikos Burbos from Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, clinical nurse specialist Siobhan Falco, and sessions on scar therapy, meditation, and crafts.

Each year, around 7,500 people are diagnosed with ovarian cancer in the UK. Events like this offer vital connection and support to those who can often feel isolated.
