We’re delighted to announce the return of our school garden project.

We meet every Thursday after school and have been weeding the beds and preparing for the plants. I had many seeds that I planted in pots to see if they would grow.

We bought our plants locally with our grant from Clevedon Climate and Nature.

These are the herbs that we bought that we want to use in cooking in Food technology.

It’s fun putting the plants in and then seeing them grow.

Other plants that we have bought and planted are strawberries, blackcurrants, raspberries, gooseberries and rhubarb. The rhubarb plant is doing really well!

We also bought some flowers for the bees and have been careful not to cut some of the long grass with buttercups and dandelions for the bees.
