North Somerset's inspiring young people honoured at Youth Awards

Young people from across North Somerset were recognised for their achievements, resilience and community spirit during a special awards ceremony at Weston-super-Mare's Grand Pier.
Hosted by Reset WSM at the Grand Pier in Weston-super-Mare, the ceremony brought together finalists, families, community leaders and supporters to celebrate the remarkable contributions being made by young people aged between eight and 18.
The awards were created to shine a spotlight on the many positive achievements of children and young people across North Somerset, recognising those who have overcome challenges, shown resilience, supported others, excelled in their chosen fields and made a lasting difference in their communities.
Awards were presented across a wide range of categories, including Arts and Culture, Caring, Environmental, Learning, Sporting and Superhero Champions.
There was also recognition for outstanding teams and individuals who provide exceptional support to young people through the Service to Children Champion award.
The ceremony highlighted the incredible talent, compassion and determination of young people across the area.
From those overcoming daily challenges and supporting others to achievements in sport, education, creativity and environmental action, every finalist demonstrated the qualities of a positive role model.
Guests also enjoyed performances from talented young people throughout the evening, including drama, magic, sign language performances, dance and an electric guitar solo.

Reset WSM congratulated all the finalists and winners and thanked everyone who helped make the event possible.
