In March we presented our eco-projects at the Curzon Theatre in Clevedon as part of the Greenshift festival, which celebrates all the activism that is happening in our local community.

We also held a competition involving primary schools and our own school. The subject was about our connection with nature. We heard from students at All Saints and Chestnut Park schools, as well as from our own Clevedon School students.

Liza, who left Clevedon last year, created a film showcasing our eco-craftivism, which we had the opportunity to watch on the big screen.

The university also brought in artists working in eco-craftivism to the Curzon, allowing students unfamiliar with the concept to learn how upcycling waste can be used to make powerful statements about reducing waste.

We hope that sharing our ideas on this day has made a difference in how people think about and manage waste.
