By Charities Correspondent
Bristol Airport are delighted to announce Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) as its new official charity partner, marking the start of a meaningful partnership dedicated to supporting children with life-limiting conditions and their families across the region.
Bristol Airport staff will come together to raise vital funds and awareness for CHSW, which provides specialist care, respite, and support through its three hospices across the South West.
The charity offers a true “home-from-home” environment for children and families, supporting them during some of the most challenging times in their lives.
Through the two-year partnership, Bristol Airport will back CHSW with fundraising activities, staff engagement, and awareness campaigns across the Airport, helping to generate essential funding while raising awareness of the charity’s services and the difference they make across the region.
Funds raised will help CHSW continue delivering essential care and support to babies, children, and young people, as well as offering vital assistance to
families when they need it most.
Since launching the Charity Partner programme, Bristol Airport has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for local good causes, helping fund vital services, community projects and support people in need.
Between 2024 and 2025, Bristol Airport raised more than £210,000 through its two-year charity partnership with Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC).
This amount was driven by a wide range fundraising events, including
long-distance bike rides, an Airport Runway Run, charity golf days, and plane-spotting events.
Phil Morris, Chief Executive, Children’s Hospice South West said:
“Our partnership with Bristol Airport will make a real and lasting difference to the children and families we care for. Their two-year commitment provides vital support that will help us deliver compassionate, specialist care during some of the most challenging moments a family can face.

to raise the awareness and essential funds needed to ensure we are there for children and families when they need us most.”
