A classroom hero from Wantage is heading to the national stage after being shortlisted for one of the UK’s top education awards.

Leanne Tomlin, a teaching assistant at Wantage Church of England Primary School, is now in the running for ‘Teaching Assistant of the Year’ at the TES Schools Awards — with just eight finalists chosen nationwide.

The prestigious awards celebrate the very best in education, putting Leanne among the country’s top support staff.
