Pink Storage Steps In to Save Cardiff City FC Community Foundation from Storage Crisis

Cardiff City FC Community Foundation has been given vital support from a local self-storage provider after being notified that its current storage facilities would no longer be available from January.
With the deadline rapidly approaching and no suitable alternative space found, The Community Foundation faced a major problem: where would it keep the equipment and resources it needed to run its education and community programmes?
Thankfully, a solution arrived before full-time when independent storage provider Pink Storage Cardiff came off the bench to help.
The Community Foundation is the official charity of Cardiff City FC and delivers a wide range of initiatives to achieve its hat-trick of goals: improving health and wellbeing, supporting learning and skills, and building stronger communities.
These initiatives rely on essential kit and equipment being stored safely and accessed quickly, making the loss of their storage base a major operational challenge.
Understanding the urgency, Pink Storage moved quickly to help, providing the charity with a secure 20ft ground-floor storage unit located just a four-minute walk from the charity’s base.
The drive-up access and close proximity mean staff can reach equipment whenever needed, keeping programmes running smoothly across South Wales.
Catherine Angle, Head of Fundraising and External Engagement at the Cardiff City FC Community Foundation, said: “What began as a difficult situation has now been turned around. Moving out of our storage facility could have created major financial challenges and disrupted our work, but thanks to Pink Storage’s quick support, we now have a safe, accessible local solution that allows us to continue without interruption.”
