Rescued Tiger Aqua Settles into New Home at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm (By Rosie, 13)

Aqua the tiger has found a permanent new habitat in Somerset with Noah's Ark Zoo Farm after a very long journey.
In October 2019, a horsebox carrying 10 tigers in critical condition was stopped at the Belarus border, where border guards found they had insufficient documents.
The tigers were seized and temporarily taken to Poznan Zoo, and five of them, including Aqua, were moved to a renowned animal charity.
Thankfully, Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm took him in during October 2025 and now, as you can see from the image, he is very happy.
In his new forever home, Noah’s Ark staff have made sure to meet all his requirements.
Due to Aqua’s love of water, his new home also features two pond areas to provide exciting enrichment through physical exercise, helping him feel right at home.
The fight will continue to keep Aqua content, with fundraising ongoing to support his care, special diet and upkeep of his habitat.

People can also support the Tiger Rescue Appeal.
Visitors can now go and see Aqua at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm in Somerset.
