Morrisons Cafés Offer Free Drinks to Football Fans Wearing National Shirts This Summer

Football fans can enjoy a free drink at Morrisons Cafés this summer simply by turning up in their national team shirt, as the supermarket launches a nationwide promotion aimed at celebrating the “summer of football”.
From 11 June to 28 June, customers visiting any Morrisons Café wearing their country’s football shirt will be entitled to a complimentary hot drink — including tea, americano, latte or cappuccino — or a chilled fizzy drink, with no minimum purchase required.
The offer runs all day, every day during the promotional period, meaning supporters can claim a free beverage whether they are heading to a match, meeting friends, or recovering after a late-night kick-off with a café breakfast.
Alongside the drinks giveaway, Morrisons has introduced a limited-edition Match Day Menu, designed to tap into football-inspired appetites.
New items include the Morri Match Day Burger (£12), featuring two quarter-pound beef burgers, cheese, bacon and hash browns, served with chips and coleslaw.
The range also includes a Loaded Hot Dog (£6.50) topped with onion rings, nacho cheese sauce and crispy onions.

For early risers following evening fixtures, Morrisons Cafés will open from 8am on weekdays and Saturdays, serving breakfast options such as freshly brewed coffee and bacon butties priced at £4.50.
Will Reed, Senior Buying Manager at Morrisons, said the initiative is designed to bring people together during a major sporting moment.
“The summer of football is one of the biggest sporting moments in the calendar and brings people together through a shared love of the game,” he said. “We wanted to give supporters a fun way to celebrate the tournament.”
The free drink promotion runs across all Morrisons Cafés nationwide until 28 June, while the Match Day Menu will remain available until 19 July.
