Weston Accountant Who Nearly Lost His Home Celebrates New HQ Milestone
By Business Editor
From the brink of losing his home to opening a landmark business hub, Weston accountant Neil Criddle has marked a remarkable six-year journey with the launch of a new headquarters in Weston-super-Mare.
One of the South West’s fastest-growing accountancy firms, ND Consultancy, has officially opened its 4,000 sq ft headquarters at 4–6 Cranwell Road, Locking Parklands, after expanding from a one-person operation to a team of 17 in just six years.
Neil's Data Consultancy, whose motto is “Making Finance Fun”, has also built a strong local reputation and is recognised as the top-rated accountancy practice in Weston-super-Mare on Google reviews.
The new building features conference facilities, co-working space, bookable meeting rooms and a dedicated podcast studio, designed as a modern hub for businesses and entrepreneurs across the region.

The site is believed to occupy the former officers’ sports yard from when the area was an RAF camp.
Guests attended the official launch event alongside Weston-super-Mare MP Dan Aldridge and the town’s Mayor, Cllr Owen Davies.

Neil, formerly of Priory School, is also heavily involved in charity work and is a regular at local schools including Priory and Worle School doing Dragons’ Den, mock work interviews and more.
He said: “We are so excited to unveil these new premises. We wanted to create more than just an office – we wanted to build a place where businesses can come together, collaborate and grow.
“To see what we’ve achieved in just over six years is incredible, and it could not have been done without my wife Carrie-Ann, our family and our brilliant team.
The opening of the headquarters represents a significant investment in Weston-super-Mare, bringing the whole NDC team together for the first time in 12 months and providing a new resource for the wider business community.
Weston-super-Mare MP Dan Aldridge said:
“This is a tremendous success story. Businesses like NDC show exactly why Weston-super-Mare has such a bright future.”
Cllr Davies said: “This fantastic new business hub is another example of the ambition and community spirit that exists across the town, and I wish Neil and the whole team every success for the future.”
Neil added: “Six years ago we were two months away from defaulting on our home mortgage. Today we’re employing 17 people and opening the doors to a building designed to help other businesses grow.
“I still pinch myself every day. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built and excited about what comes next.”
